Depois dos espetáculos Saltimbanco, Alegria e Quidam, o Cirque du Soleil volta este ano ao Brasil para a sua quarta temporada, dessa vez com o espetáculo Varekai, criado e dirigido por Dominic Champagne. O que é Varekai
O espetáculo “Varekai” (que significa ‘em qualquer lugar’), e conta a história do Ícaro, um jovem rapaz que podia voar e que, ao se aproximar do sol, teve suas asas derretidas. E sem poder voar, aterrissa em uma floresta mágica, no ponto mais alto de um vulcão, em um mundo habitado por criaturas fantásticas. Lá conhece uma jovem misteriosa e também conhece os guardas de Varekai, que lideram a tribo e competem entre si. A trilha sonora é composta por músicas de diferentes culturas de países diferentes.
